About Fun & Fitness |
During small group & personal training sessions each client's posture and core strength is constantly being assessed by the trainer. This includes abdominal strength and lower back flexibility testing. The clients program is developed during the semi- private sessions to specifically suit each individual's lifestyle. Emphasis will be placed on functional strengthening and flexibility to enhance each person's situation.
Clients will be taught how to improve their strength in everyday activities, as well as be provided with a variety of interesting and fun exercises. These exercises will incorporate a smooth progression of intensity that will help to ensure interest and challenge for long term continuity.
Personal Training Sessions with Fun & Fitness can include:
• The use of Pilates Equipment • Assessments such as FitnessAge and Postural, Cardio and Strength Assessments • Boxing & Kickboxing Technique/Fitness • Weights and other resistance training • Bike riding around the lake or on fire trails around Canberra • Kick Biking around the lake or on fire trails around Canberra • The production of Cardio or Resistance training Programs for you to do without direct supervision • Motivational (Personal Best) Goal setting • Nutritional Strategy Sessions / Shopping • Mobile Personal Training Sessions where we come to your home. • Walking / Running and possibly preperation for Boot Camps • Induction sessions to help with confidence to transition to small group sessions in most of the above
In Small Group Training Sessions with Fun & Fitness an emphasis is placed on achieving results in a fun, relaxed and non-intimidating environment. Resistance is achieved in a variety of ways including the use of fitballs, bands, free weights, machine weights, body resistance, medicine balls and partner work.
By having a variety of indoor and outdoor sessions with a sociable group of participants, we are encouraging each other to successfully exercise in a fun environment.
Fun & Fitness is located near the suburbs of Deakin, Russell, Barton, Queanbeyan, Lake Burley Griffin, Woden and Griffith.
